He was born on Aug. 16, 1955, in Germany to Patricia Steiss Sutton and the late James Willard Sutton. He was a supervisor with Cauthan Construction Co. and was an Air Force veteran. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Rollins Sutton of Nashville; mother, Pat Sutton, Nashville; three sons, Blair (Tammy) Sutton, Nashville, John Sutton, T.J. Sutton, both of Jacksonville, Fla.; one grandson, Trenton Sutton; and one brother, James W. Sutton Jr. of Dothan, Ala. Funeral service will be held at 4 p.m., Friday, March 18, 2005, in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Clarence Luke officiating. Burial will be held in Poplar Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 2 p.m. today with the family receiving friends from 7-9 p.m. Active pallbearers were Wayne Rice, T.J. Sutton, John Sutton, Rod Jackson. Honorary pallbearers were Ray Hamilton, Ray Garner, Stanley Hughes, Louis Brantley, Robert Harper, Jerry Griner. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
