Mrs. Sutton was born July 17, 1931 in Cook County to the late Oid Tyson and Gertrude Sutton. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Edmond “Ed” Sutton, who died in 1983; and three sisters, Rosalie Drennan, Annie Lou Pelaccio and Emmer Lee Cason. She was a homemaker a and retired from Nashville Textile. She was a member of Flat Creek Baptist C Church. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Robin Sutton of Nashville; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Robert Perkins of Altus, Okla.; a sister, Bonnie Lott of Mount Vernon; four grandchildren, Chuck Chatfield, Dena Vineyard, Lonnie Sutton and John Sutton; and six great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held Nov. 7 at 3 p.m. at Flat Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. Songs on CD included "Drinking From My Saucer," "Three Wooden Crosses," and "Still Blessed," Robert Gaskins and Donald Harnage Harnage played "Amazing Grace" on guitar and harmonica.. Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Greg Shoupe, Jamie McMillan, Robert Trowell, Robbie Dasher, Greg Exum, Mike Ritchea.
