Born August 20, 1913 in Berrien County to the late Lester and Debbie Nichols Taylor, he was a retired druggist having been associated with Bennett-Taylor Drug Store in Nashville for 44 years. He was a member of Nashville United Methodist Church and taught the Larry Taylor Sunday School class for 40 years. He was a veteran of WWII, a member of the VFW, a Mason and a former member of the Berrien County Board of the Berrien County Board of Education and the Nashville Housing Authority. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mildred Long Taylor of Nashville, one daughter, Beth Taylor of Valdosta; on son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Sandra Taylor of Nashville; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Phil Taylor. Funeral services were held Sept. 21 at 11 a.m. at Nashville United Methodist Church with Revs. Benjy Varnell and Owen Williams officiating. Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
