Born November 10, 1916, in Holmes Co., FL to the late Jackson Lee and Cora Lizzie Woodham Long, she was the widow of Larry Taylor, who died in 1998. She was a homemaker and member of Nashville United Methodist Church. She is also preceded in death by son, Phil Taylor. Survivors include daughter, Beth Taylor of Monticello; son and daughter-in- law, Dan and Sandra Taylor of Nashville; sister, Mary Whidden of Nashville; grandchildren, Becky Taylor and Tanya (Jonathan) Coe; three great- grandchildren, Phillip Coe, Taylor Coe, Nathan Coe. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Nov. 30 at Nashville United Methodist Church with the Revs. Russ Elkins and Owen Williams officiating. The congregation sang "Victory in Jesus," accompanied by Bobette Lamb. Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Ben Crum, Dorian Osborne, Don Williams, Johnny Whidden, Lee Whidden, Jonathan Coe. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
