 Joseph David "J.D." Taylor, 91, of Nashville died July 13, 2014, in the Berrien 
Nursing Center.
 He was born September 14, 1922, in Alapaha to the late Joe Crawford and Texas 
Rowan Taylor. He retired as owner of Nashville Bag Company and was of the 
Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Sandra Lee Kent and 
Daphne Walker; granddaughter, Beth Lynn Taylor; sister, Jeanette Taylor 
Stallings; brother, Clarence Emory Taylor.
 He is survived by his wife, Sarah Reabeth Harper Taylor of Nashville; three 
sons, David (Terry) Taylor, Wendell (Evelyn) Taylor and Joey Taylor all of 
Nashville; nine grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Herbert 
Taylor of Lake Placid, FL.
 Funeral services were held July 15 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with the Revs. Stanley Luke and Johnny Smith officiating.
 Interment followed in Westview Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
