John Albert “Johnny” Taylor Jr., 55, of Nashville, died Wednesday, March 16, 201
2011 in the Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m
p.m. Friday in the Nashville United Methodist Church with the Rev. Russ Elkins and
and the Rev. Danny Ray officiating. Burial will follow at Nashville Memorial Gar
Gardens. "I Can Only Imagine" and "Amazing Grace" were played on CD and Mike Tay
Taylor sang "How Great Thou Art."
 Pallbearers were Chuck Wood, Lamar Jowers, Walt Vickers, Jimmy Purvis, Michael Pu
Purvis, Chaney Robinson, George Brogdon, Larry McMillan.
 He was born Oct. 11, 1955 in Pensacola, Fla., to John Albert Taylor and Mary A
Ann Gordon. He was employed with the J.H. Harvey Company as a merchandiser. He w
was also a member of the Nashville United Methodist Church.
 He is survived by his wife, Kathy Edore Taylor of Nashville; daughter and son-in
in-law, Christy and Brett McMillan of Nashville; sons, Tommy Taylor of Covin
Covington and Jason Stripling of Winder; granddaughter, Riley McMillan; father and
m
and mother, John Albert and Mary Ann Taylor of Leesburg; brothers, Billy Taylor of
Al
of Albany, Brian Taylor of Albany, Mike Taylor of Tampa, Fla., Ricky Taylor of
Alban
Albany and Paul Taylor of Durham, N.C.; and sister, Pat Taylor of Alaska.
 Flowers will be accepted or memorial contributions may be made to the Nash
Nashville United Methodist Church Jam Ministry. Lovein Funeral Home in Nash
Nashville is in charge of arrangements.
