Born Nov. 17, 1957 in Houston County, AL, he was the son of Loyce McWhorter Tedder Dunn of Enigma and the late Billy Tedder. He was a farmer and a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a member of Ebnezer Baptist Church. Survivors in addition to his mother, include his wife, Brenda Majors Tedder of Enigma; two sons, Zachery Tedder and Billy Tedder, both of Enigma; two brothers, Terry Tedder of Webb, AL and Bruce Tedder of Deatsville, AL; his grandfather, J. V. McWhorter of Alexander City, AL. Funeral services were held March 22 at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Marvin Williams, Jim Williams and Leonard Conger. Music included "Clinging to a Saving Hand" and "Beulah Land" by Joy Conger. Interment was in Enon Cemetery in Webb. Active pallbearers were Hollis Fletcher, Calloway Nichols, Henry Nichols, Buddy Tedder, Howell Minchew. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmie Boyd and Tim McMillan. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
