Born October 2, 1919 in Berrien County to the late Danny and Donna Mae Griner, she was a homemaker and member of Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church. She was married to the late Henry Hudson Temples. Survivors include daughters, Quida (Ernest) Hall of Lakeland and Nancy Warren of Nashville; four sons, Robert Walton Temples and Wayne Temples, both of Ray City, Wallace (Shirley) Temples of Nashville, Wyman (Elizabeth) Temples of Tifton; 11 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren. Funeral services were held March 25 at 2 p.m. at Mt. Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church with the Revs. Bryan Layton, Charles Nichols and Michael Exum officiating. New Tradition sang "Beulah Land," and Freddie Temples sand "Will the Circle Be Unbroken?" Interment was in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Grandson served as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Temples, Donald Exum, Alton Exum, J.V. Dasher, Larry Heath, Anthony Heath. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
