 Michael Shane Thompson, 19, of Nashville died June 27, 2004.

 Born September 17, 1984 in Lowndes Co. to Terry Michael and Rhonda Cook 
Thompson of Nashville, he was employed with Nashville Mills.

 Survivors, in addition to his parents, include one sister, Michelle Braswell 
of Nashville; paternal grandparents, R.C. and Lavenia Thompson of Nashville; 
maternal grandmother, Jeanette Cook of Lakeland.

 Funeral services were held June 30 at 2 p.m. at Hope Baptist Church with the 
Revs. Steve Pickern and Ed Godwin officiating. Buck Warren sang "Three Wooden 
Crosses" and "Long Black Train."

 Interment was in Poplar Springs Cemetery.

 Active pallbearers were Lee Benefield, Will Sapp, Mathew Leonard, Marcus 
Cribb, Justin Smith, John Mitchell Rowan.

 Honorary pallbearers were Jeremy Braswell, Josh Walker, Justin Walker, Brian 
Cook, Derrell Cook, Carlisle Moore, Ron Pearson, Donnie Harrell.

 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
