Born May 26, 1970, in Camilla, he loved life and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He had recently rededicated his life to the Lord at Liberty Parkway Church of God and had joined the choir. He and his family were such a blessing to the church and his smile and commitment to the Lord will be forever remembered. He worked in the meat department at Publix in Leesburg where he never met a stranger. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend. He is now singing in Heaven’s choir and is thanking the Lord for His l love. Survivors include his loving wife, Libby Dale Griffin Throneberry; mother, Linda Sue Spicer; daughters, Amy Sumner of Albany and Hailee Hunter of Lancaster, SC; son, Timothy James Sumner, II and wife Ashley of Ocilla; granddaughter, Alliyah Sumner; brothers, Jody and Tonya Throneberry of Lakeland and Billy Spicer of Cecil; brother in law, Max Griffin; sister in law, Dixie Griffin; Libby’s parents, Dale and Jennifer Griffin of Tifton; several nieces, nephews, nephews, cousins and his Liberty Parkway family. Funeral services were July 6 at 11 a.m. at Liberty Parkway Church of God with the Revs the Revs. Ralph Horne and Joseph W. Jones officiating. Remains were cremated following the service. Hall and Hall Funeral Home of Albany was in charge of arrangements.
