Born January 1, 1928 in Frederick County, VA to the late Gerald Glendon and Fannie Pearl Broy Gatewood, She was a homemaker and former restaurant owner in Key West, FL. She attended Nashville First Baptist Church and was married to the late Fred Newton Tittle, Jr. Survivors include one daughter, Judy Lynn Jones of Newport News, VA; two step- daughters, Judy Day and Joyce Dorman, both of Palm City, FL; two stepsons, Charles Tittle of Oviedo, FL and Mark Tittle of Woodstock; one brother, Gerald Glendon Gateway, Jr. of Belleview, FL; eight grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held Nov. 3 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Steve Pickern. Musical selections included "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In The Garden." Interment was in Old City Cemetery. Selected family members served as pallbearers. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
