  Mary Alice Todd, 83, of Nashville died September 28, 2007 at her residence.
  Born February 1, 1924 in Coweta County to the late Hugh Rayford and Carrie 
Elizabeth Ansley Watkins, she was a homemaker and retired secretary with the 
Lowndes County Health Department. She was a member of Willacoochee United 
Methodist Church and was married to the late Lewis Cleveland Todd.
  Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Danny Hendley of 
Nashville; one son and daughter-in-law, Leslie and Zita Todd of Coral Gables, 
FL; one sister, Emily Sewell of Marietta; four grandchildren, eight great-
grandchildren.
  A graveside service was held October 1 at 2 p.m. at Sherwood Memorial Park, 
in Jonesboro with Rev. David Spring officiating.
  Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
