 Evelyn Virginia Trapp of Nashville died July 24, 2010, after a lengthy illness.
 She was born November 18, 1936, in Lanier County to the late Irvin and Ruthie 
Mae Bostic Skinner, she was a hard worker, working in the fields for many years 
while taking care of her family. At different times in her life she worked as a 
nurse, factory worker, social worker and EMT. She was an avid gardener and 
loved to cook, sew, crochet and knit. She never turned down a chance to go 
fishing with her children and grandchildren. She was also self-educated, always w
willing to learn something new. She loved to study the Bible and attend m
meetings at the Kingdom of Jehovah's Witnesses. She will be missed by all who k
knew and loved her.
 Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Sherry and Ricky Pearson of 
Lakeland and Peggy and Alan Trout of Nashville; two sons and daughters-in-law, 
James and Lanita Gaskins of Lakeland and Ronny and Jackie Gaskins of Nashville; 
11 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren; sisters, Cathy Alexander of Bloumfield
Bloumfield, CO, Geraldine Smith and Wanda McKinney, both of Lakeland, FL; three 
brothers, Edward Skinner of McAlpin, FL, Fred Skinner of Lakeland, FL, Jimmy 
Skinner of Olive Hill, KY.
 Funeral services were held July 26 at 11 a.m. in the Lakeland Chapel of Music F
Funeral Services and burial followed in Empire Cemetery.
 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
