NASHVILLE -- Arthur Donald Trowell, 79, of Nashville, died Saturday, August 
28, 1999, at Berrien County Hospital. The son of the late Robert H. Trowell 
and the late Dora Exum Trowell. Mr. Trowell was born March 27, 1920 in 
Atkinson Co. He was a retired civil service employee at Moody Air Force Base 
and of the Baptist faith. He was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of 
the Pearl Harbor Survivors Association and the Nashville Post of the Veterans 
of Foreign Wars.
 Survivors include his wife, Alice Gibbs Trowell; two daughters and a son in 
law, Janice Trowell and Susan and Randy Warren all of Nashville; a son and 
daughter in law, Robert and Shirley Trowell of Nashville; three grandchildren, 
Robert Trowell Jr. and Amanda Cumbess, both of Nashville, and Malinda Nugent 
of Alapaha; and four great grandchildren.
 Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m. today Aug. 30 in the chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with the Rev. Julian Strom and the Rev. Loyce Walker officiating. 
Burial will follow in Westview.
