The funeral took place Friday, Feb. 2, at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Irwin County, GA. Rev. Payton Walker, Rev. Wescoat Holloway, and Rev. Brantley Seymo Seymour officiated, and burial was in the church cemetery. Music was by Virginia Claire Bennett, pianist and Angie Harper, organist. Active pallbearers were Garland Booth, Jr., Donnie Bragg, Glenn Tucker, Lyte Ray Raymond Harper, George Courson and J.B. Henderson, Honorary pallbearers were Vernice Harper, Vinson Griffin, Glenn Sapp, Jeff Ro Roach, Johnnie Pat Webb, Jack Harrell. Mrs. Tucker had lived in Berrien County most of her life, she was a Sunday S School Teacher and was active in the Women's Mission Union. She was a housewife a and was the widow of Eddie E. Tucker. Survivors are two sons, Joe Tucker of Alapaha and James Reavis Tucker of Manchester; three brothers, John Seymour of Alapaha, W.A. Seymour of Brunswick and Rev. Brantley Seymour of Roswell; three sisters, Edna Tucker of Ocilla, Nancy Wright of Rome and Martha Jim Maddox of Macon; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
