She was born December 10, 1931, in Atkinson County to the late Seaborn and Beulah Woods Bowen. She was a homemaker, member of Rowetown Missionary Baptist Church and attended Knight's Memorial Missionary Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Ben Harper; two daughters, Juanita Terrell and Bobbie Nell Harper; two brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her husband, Charles Ray Tucker of Nashville; two daughters, Alveta (Greg) Vickers of Nashville and Christine (Ed) Hammock of Sylvester; son, Laster (Denise) Harper of Lakeland; nine grandchildren; nine great- grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; sister, Mary Hightower of Douglas. Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 13 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with the Rev. Jimmy Spikes officiating. Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
