She leaves to mourn her passing, her mother, Francine McCall, Nashville, Ga.; two sons; Kyle Turner, Craig Colo.; and Mark Turner, USAF, Sheppard AFB, Texas; three brothers; Brad McCall; Chuck McCall and Ken McCall, Nashville, Ga. and Kyle’s wife, Jackie; a sister-in-law, Janice McCall; and many relatives and friends. Cobey attended schools in Perry, Ga., and Nashville, Ga. She was the first female to take welding at Valdosta Tech. She loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and all of nature. Cobey had an undiagnosed illness for the past 10 years, enduring severe pain. She had to forgo all activities. Cobey was born in Macon, Ga. on Sept. 25, 1956 to Francine Brown McCall and Charles Bradford McCall, deceased; paternal grandparents, both deceased, were Catherine Bradford Lewis McCall, Florida and Charles Hardy McCall, Pitts, Ga.; maternal grandparents were: Lucille Draughon Brown, Perry, Ga. and James Turner Brown, Vienna, Ga., both deceased. Cobey’s wishes were to be cremated. Memorial services will be held Sunday, March 1, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. in Nashville, Ga. at the Nashville United Methodist Church.
