 Betty Jean Turner, 72, of Enigma, died June 28, 2014, at Golden Living Center.
 She was born July 14, 1941, in Berrien County to the late Shelton and Carrie 
DeLoach Harris. She was a homemaker and member of Enigma Baptist Church. She was 
loved by all her grandchildren and friends. She also loved her special dog, 
Charlie. She was the widow of James Willard Turner and was also preceded in 
death by a son, Richard Turner and three brothers, Gene Harris, Gary Harris and 
Robert Harris.
 She is survived by her son, Jim Turner of Enigma; daughter, Nancy Silverthorn 
of Enigma; brother, Donald (Mary) Harris of Enigma; sister-in-law, Patricia 
Harris of Tifton; grandchildren, Matt Turner, Jason (Cordilla) Turner, Erika 
(Douglas) Baltezore, and Christian Turner; great-grandchildren, Layleh Baltezore 
and Maycie Turner.
 Funeral services were held July 1 at 11 a.m. at Vickers Church with the Rev. 
Ronnie Lawson officiating.
 Interment followed in the church cemetery. 
 Lamar Frazier, J.E. Bennett, Shane Harris, Shawn Harris, Joey Griner, Kim 
Powell served as pallbearers.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
