He was born February 13, 1934 in Lexington, KY to the late Sewell and Gladys T Tuttle. He was a retired Master Sergeant United States Air Force and worked as a an electrician on jet fighters. He also served three tours during Vietnam C Conflict and attended Hope Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a d daughter, JoAnn Tuttle; a son, David Tuttle; a brother and a sister. He is survived by his wife, Lois Smith Tuttle of Nashville; three daughters, Terri Tuttle and Debby French, both of Nashville, and Sherri Upson of Valdosta; two sons, Tommy Tuttle and Shane Tuttle, both of Nashville; 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren; brother, Ray Tuttle of Quincy, WA; sister, Betty Royer of of Lake City, FL. A graveside service was held October 9 at 2 p.m. at Nashville Memorial Gardens w with full military honors. The Rev. Ray Calvin officiated. Lovein Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
