 Minnie Ola Blanton Tyre, 85, of Mayo, FL died Feb. 12, 2009 at Tift Regional 
Medical Center.
 Born Feb. 13, 1923 in Pinellas Co., FL to the late Roscoe C. and Minnie 
Sheffield Blanton, she was a homemaker and member of New Hope Baptist Church. 
She was married to the late William Washington Tyre, who died in 1999.
 Survivors include one niece, Marlene (Kent) Carter of West Berrien.
 A graveside service was held on Feb. 14 at 12 noon at Bethlehem Cemetery in 
Lake City, FL with the Revs. Charlie Walker and William Anderson officiating.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of local arrangements.
