 Tommy Joe Tyson, 62, of Nashville died Dec. 24, 2010 at Tift Regional Medical
Center.

 Born Dec. 3, 1948, in Lowndes County to the late Raleigh and Louise Hancock Tyson,

Tyson, he was retired from the State of Georgia with Diversified Services and

attended Nashville Mission. He was preceded in death by a brother, Raleigh
Raleigh "Bunchy" Tyson, Jr.
 Survivors include his wife, Debbie Hamilton Tyson of Nashville; daughter, Tonya 
Tonya Jo Tyson of Nashville; sons, Jeremy Tyson of Nashville and John Mason of
Cummin
Cummings; brothers, Billy Tyson and Dennie Tyson, both of Nashville; four grandc
grandchildren, three of whom reside in Cummings and Cameron Boyd of Nashville.
 Funeral services were held Dec. 27 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home 
Home with the Rev. R.T. Castleberry officiating. Songs on CD were "I Can Only Imagi
Imagine," "I Will Rise," and "Take My Hand."
 Interment was in Nashville Memorial Gardens.
 Active pallbearers were Todd Tyson, Ronnie Gray, Robert Averitt, Chris McM
McMillan, Mann Griner, Chael Tyson.
 Honorary pallbearers were Tyler Tyson, Justin Tyson, Curtis Hamilton, Trampass Ha
Hamilton.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
