Born June 22, 1944, in Berrien County to the late Phillip Jackson and Ruby Lee Taylor Turner, she was employed with Berrien Nursing Center as a certified nurse’s aide. She was a member of Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church and a attended Faith Chapel. She gave her heart fully to serve others through making h homemade blankets, hats, and cakes. She was truly a giving person who loved s serving the Lord, family, friends, and church. She was the widow of Robert E Eugene Tyson who died in 2002. She is survived by her daughter, Tina (Scott) Stalnaker of Nashville; son, Bill (Billie Joe) Sutton of Nashville; half-daughter, Pam Sutton(Bobby) Hilliard of Adel; three step-daughters, Pam Tyson and Renee Bodine of Ocean Springs, MS, Sherry Merek of Mountain Rest, SC; step-son, Glenn Tyson of Ocean Springs, MS; two sisters, Beverly (Carl) Pafford of West Berrien and Phyllis (Alton) Bailey of Nashville; brother, Billy (Lee) Turner of Nashville; three grandchildren, Summer, Reed, and Boone; several half and step-grandchildren. Funeral services were held May 14 at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home Home with the Revs. Mike Bennett and Mark Swain officiating. Interment followed in Long Bridge Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Phillip Turner, Darren Johnson, Mike Bennett, Al Bai Bailey, Monty Cowart, Tim Hughes, Timmy Harnage, Kyle McDaniel, Cameron McD McDaniel. Honorary pallbearers were Jimmy Parker, Rudolph Cornelius, Bobby McCorvey, Da David Powell. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
