 Dorothy Tyson, 84, of Nashville, died December 25, 2014, at her daughter's 
residence in Roswell.
 She was born June 3, 1930, in Lanier County to the late Chandler and Annie 
Belle Luke Watson. She was a homemaker and for many years was a sales associate 
for Norton's Jewelers. She was a member of the Nashville First Baptist Church. 
She was the widow of Fred Tyson who died in 1999 and was also preceded in death 
by a son, Wayne Tyson, who died in 1977.
 She is survived by her daughter, Linda Tyson of Roswell, and a sister, Nadine 
Sheffield of Lakeland.
 Funeral services were held December 30 at 2 p.m. at Nashville First Baptist 
Church with Rev. Danny Ray officiating.
 Interment was in Long Bridge Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
