 James Franklin Tyson, 78, of Nashville died August 22, 2014, at his residence.
 He was born August 21, 1936, in Berrien County to the late Robert J. and Onnie 
Rowan Tyson. He was a retired MSGT US Air Force as a communications repair 
specialist with 20 years of service.
 He is survived by his wife, Mattie Geneva Golden Tyson of Nashville; two sons, 
Gregory (Patricia) Tyson of Tampa, FL and Jerry Tyson of Treasure Island, FL; 
three grandsons, Nicholas (Amanda), Patrick (Christina), and Sean; sister, 
Elizabeth (A.W.) Simms of Macon.
 Funeral services will be held August 27 at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with the Rev. R.T. Castleberry officiating. 
 Interment will follow at Nashville Memorial Gardens with full military honors.
 Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
