 John A. Vaughn, 81, of Lakeland died Dec. 15, 2010 at Tift Regional Medical C
Center.
 Born April 5, 1929, in Berrien County to the late Horace and Lula Rogers 
Vaughn, he worked in the timber industry and attended New River Free Holiness 
Church. He is preceded in death by his wife of 56 years. Ruth Jones Vaughn ; 
great grandson, David Levin Pafford; two brothers, Billy Vaughn and J.R. V
Vaughn; two sisters, Margaret Royals and Mary Nell Chaney.
 Survivors include two daughters and one son-in-law, Brinda Pafford and David 
Miley of Tifton and Barbara May of Nashville; grandchildren, David Pafford, 
John Pafford, Bob Pafford, Jodie Taylor, Chandler Herndon; great grandchildren, 
Harrison Pafford, Ashley Pafford, Gabrele Pafford, Taylor Pafford, Madison Pafford
Pafford, Katilyn Pafford, Jordan Taylor, J.C. Herndon, Cameron Herndon, Colby He
Herndon; sister, Judy Palmer of Lakeland; three brothers, Jimmy Vaughn, David Va
Vaughn and Charles Vaughn, all of Lakeland.
 Funeral services were held Dec. 18 at 2 p.m. in the Lakeland Chapel of Music F
Funeral Services with burial in New River Holiness Church Cemetery.
 Music Funeral Services of Lakeland was in charge of arrangements.
