 Edgar Allen Vaughn, 85 of West Berrien, passed away Sunday, Aug. 15, 2010 at h
his residence.
 He was born Jan. 20, 1925 in Pinellas Co., Fla. to the late Leander and Grace 
Wickham Vaughn. He was a retired Sheet Rock Plasterer with Local #5 West Coast
Trowell
Trowell Trade; Veteran of WW II, having served as a Military Policeman in 
General George Patton’s 3rd Army. He was awarded the African Middle Eastern M
Medal, Bronze Service Star, Good Conduct Medal, WW II Victory Medal and the E
European Occupation Medal. He was a member of a Pioneer Pinellas Co., Fla. f
family and was a member of Hopewell Primitive Baptist Church in Sarasota, Fla.
 He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Vernell Griffin Vaughn of West 
Berrien; two daughters, Sarah Fox and Diana Vaughn, both of St. Petersburg, 
Fla.; three sons, Gerald Vaughn and Darrell Vaughn both of West Berrien and 
Stanley Vaughn of Bradenton, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and four
great-grandchildren.
 Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010 at Mt. 
grandchildren.

Primitive Baptist Church with Elder Charles Tyson and Elder Jabin James o
officiating. Music was provided by a selected Primitive Baptist choir.
 Interment will be held in Mt. Paron Cemetery. The body will lie in state at hi
his residence.
 Pallbearers were grandsons and Dr. Richard Wheeler.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
