 William Thomas Veale, 67, of Nashville died August 4, 2007 at East Georgia 
Medical Center in Statesboro.
  Born July 31, 1940 in Worth County to the late Howard Sylvester and Irene 
Shackleford Veale, he was a retired MSGT. of the U.S. Air Force with 20 years 
service and a Vietnam veteran. He was a member of St. Ann Episcopal
 Church in Tifton.
  Survivors include his wife, Sandra Kay (Sandy) Carter Veale of Nashville; 
three daughters, Susan Hallet of Asheville, NC, Claire Veale and Sarah Harkins, 
both of Nashville; three sisters, Martha Jane Pearman of Chula, Elizabeth 
Carter of Ellabell, Joyce Tesney of Opelika, AL; two brothers, Howard Sylvester 
Veale Jr. of Ocala, FL and James Randall Veale of Colorado Springs, CO; two 
grandchildren, Sgt. Andrew (Brandie) Myers and David Myers; one great-
granddaughter, Caydence Denille Myers. He was preceded in death by two sisters, 
Judy Ann Veale and Joan Veale.
  Funeral services with full military honors were held August 7 at 2 p.m. in 
the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Dwight Bishop officiating.
  Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
