 NASHVILLE -- Jennie Vickers, 82, of Alapaha, died Thursday, May 14, 1998, at 
Tift General hospital. Born July 28, 1915 in Berrien County, she was the 
daughter of Walter Lee Cribb and Mary Lilly Willis. She was a homemaker and a 
member of Pleasant Hill Missionary Baptist Church.
 Survivors are her two sons, Tommie Vickers of Alapaha, Weyman Vickers of 
Ocilla; three sisters, Euretha Hughes and Othel Wilkerson both of Nashville 
and Winnie Southwell of Moultrie; one brother, Carter Cribb of Willacoochee; 
five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
 She was preceded in death by her husband, Garthel Vickers who died April 2, 
1992.
 Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Lovein Funeral Home 
Chapel. The Rev. Olem Bennett and the Rev. Jackie Connell will officiate. 
Burial will be in Vickers Cemetery.
 Visitation will begin after 4 p.m. today with the family receiving friends 
from 7-9 p.m. today.
 Lovein Funeral Home is serving the family.
