Born Dec. 29, 1919 in Berrien County to the late William Jasper and Annie Mae Sutton Browning, she was a homemaker and member of Vickers Church. She is survived by her husband, Howard Carlton Vickers of West Berrien; two daughters, Betty Sue McMillan of Jasper, FL and Jean Vickers of West Berrien; one son, Charles Vickers of West Berrien; two sisters, Vernice McNabb of Lakeland, FL and Geneva Harper of West Berrien; two brothers, Virgil Browning and Melvin Browning, both of West Berrien; three grandchildren, Becky Adams, Ben Vickers, Guy Vickers; one great-grandchild, Callie Adams. Funeral services were held Aug. 5 at 11 a.m. at Vickers Church with Rev. Ronnie Lawson officiating. The Pafford Family sang "I Want Us to Be Together in Heaven" and "He'll Hold to My Hand," accompanied by Linda Hall. Interment was in Vickers Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
