A daughter of the late E.R. “Runt” and Lila Mae Mathis Williams, she was born August 24, 1943, in Nashville. She was a member of Aenon Baptist Church, supported the Lighthouse Children’s Home, and loved cooking pies and cakes, e especially for her grandchildren. She is survived by her children, Terrie O. and Duane Adrian, Timmy and Pam Vickers, and Tayna and Scott Carter; grandchildren, Margaret and John Smith, Kyle Vickers (Lynze Durham), Dustin Vickers, Hannah Carter, Brooke Carter, great-grandchildren, Keagen Vickers, Raelyn Vickers; sisters, Wilma Taylor, Audrey Smith, Faye Paulk; sister-in-law, Corene Williams. In addition to her pa parents, she was preceded in death by an infant brother, an infant sister and br brothers, Sonny Williams, Henry Williams and Richard Williams. Funeral services were held September 21 at 3:30 pm. At Memorial Gardens in N Nashville. Memorials be made to the Lighthouse Children’s Home, 7771 Mahan Drive, Tall Tallahassee, FL 32317.
