Vickers, of near Alapaha, occurred Wednesday, January 21st at Dr. Willis' Sanitarium in Ocilla. Nelouise, who was a student in the Alapaha Consolidated School, was in classes Monday, but was stricken during the night. She was rushed to the hospital, where her condition was found such as not to permit an operation. She passed away in the afternoon. The body was taken to Fitzgerald for preparation for burial, before being returned to Alapaha for burial in the Mt. Peron Cemetery. Services were held in the Mt. Peron church with Elder J.W. McMillan conducting. Music was by the Griffin quartet. Surviving are the parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.T. Vickers, two sisters, Wilma and Vidarene, and four brothers, Wilber, Elmond, Tharon and Darwood Vickers. Additional Comments: Mt. Paron is spelled incorrectly more than once in the obituary.
