RAY CITY -- Leo C. Vickery, 85, of Ray City died Sunday, August 15, 1999 at 
the Berrien County Hospital. He was born in Berrien Co. on September 8, 1913 
to Ancil Vickery and Fannie Green. A retired farmer, he attended Poplar 
Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
 He is survived by his wife, Ruth Lewis Vickery of Ray City, his daughters and 
sons-in-law, Frances and Prince Kirkland of Valdosta and Peggy and Donald 
Snipes of Hampton, eight grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren. He was 
preceded in death by a son, Murrell Vickery, who died in 1986 and his brother, 
S.M. Vickery, who died in 1997. 
 Services will be held on Tuesday, August 17 at 11 a.m. in the chapel of 
Lovein Funeral Home, Elder Robert Conner presiding.
 Burial will follow at the Westview Cemetery. Visitation is tonight from 7 
p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Lovein Funeral Home Home in Nashville.
 Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
