 Hazel Waldrop, 72, of Alapaha died May 19, 1999 at Tift General Hospital in 
Tifton.
 Born April 21, 1927 in Atkinson Co., she was the daughter of the late William 
Griggs and Mattie Bell Pafford Richardson. The widow of William A. Waldrop, 
she was a homemaker and a member of Flat Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
 Survivors include two daughters, Beverly Gipson of Alapaha and Gail Neal of 
Old Fort, TN; two sons, Don Waldrop of Port Charlotte, FL and Dale Waldrop of 
Hammelburg, Germany; one brother, Austin Richardson of Alapaha; 10 
grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
 Funeral services were held May 22 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with Rev. Fred Hesters officiating. Interment was in Flat Creek Cemetary.
 Pallbearers included Jeff Williams, Guy Williams, Greg Williams, Stanley 
Williams, Ricky Williams, Andy Morris.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of
