 Christa Walker, 60, of Ray City died November 11, 2003 at her residence.

 Born Feb. 7, 1943 in Mannhelm, Germany to the late Franz and Margaret 
Sachsenmier Beringer, she was a homemaker and employed with Sam's Club in 
Valdosta. She was of the Roman Catholic faith.

 Survivors include her husband, Thomas E. "Gene" Walker of Ray City; two 
daughters, Petra Buck and Sandra Ridenour, both of Ray City; three step-
daughters, Tracy Walker of Valdosa, Sheri O'Connor of Lakeland, Becky Player of 
Florida; one brother, Lota Beringer of Germany; 12 grandchildren.

 A graveside service was held Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. at Beaver Dam Cemetery with 
Father John O'Steen officiating.

 Selected family members served as pallbearers.

 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
