She was born on Dec. 13, 1939 in Tifton to the late Clayton Lamar and Onnie Mae Spradley Spradley Williams. She was a retired seamstress and owned several restaurants. S She was a member of Nashville Church of God. Survivors include her husband of 38 years, J.M. (Buck) Whatley of Nashville; daughter, Onnie Renee Rhoden of Nashville; sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and Nancy Edwards of Lexington, NC and James Ellis and Emily Lightsey of Fitzgerald; 10 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; sister, Jeanette James of Dalton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Buddy and Becky Williams of V Valdosta, Rudy and Katie Williams of Jacksonville, FL, Roger Williams of J Jacksonville; a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Steve Randall Williams, and grand granddaughter, Carrie Lynn Castleberry. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on June 20 in the Chapel of Music Fune Funeral Service. Interment was in Oak Hill Cemetery. Music Funeral Services of Valdosta was in charge of arrangements.
