Born January 7, 1923 in Berrien County to the late Mark and Addie Fountain Watson, he was a retired farmer and retired from Nashville Mills. He was of the Baptist faith and served with the U.S. Army during WWII. Survivors include his wife, Mary Frances Rowan Watson of Nashville; one daughter, Cathy Snyder of Wellington, FL; two sons, Larry Watson and Tommy Watson, both of Nashville; one brother, Herbert Watson of Nashville; four grandchildren. Funeral services were held September 26 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein Funeral Home with Rev. Junior Swain officiating. Musical selections included "Precious Memories" and "Go Rest High On That Mountain." Interment was in Westview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Billy Outlaw, Jimmy Watson, Lamar Poole, Gary Rowan, Kevin Rowan and Roy Blackmon. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
