She was born Sept. 10, 1924, in Cook County to the late Freeman Henry and Carrie Mella Bostic. She was a homemaker and had been employed as a seamstress with Nashville Textile. She was the widow of Lonnie O. Bradford, who died in 1965, and Ronald L. Weaver, who died in 1974. Survivors include three daughters, Barbara Bradford Hagee of Morven, Phyllis Bradford McKinney of Grovetown and Kay Bradford Attaway of Wrightsville; a son, Carlton Dwaine Bradford of Douglas; a brother, Jimmy David Bostic of Sylvester; eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 5, 2011, at 1 p.m. in the Riverside Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Mickey Lindsey officiating. The church choir sang "Precious Memories," "Amazing Grace," "I'll Fly Away," and "Lord, I'm Coming Home." Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 7-9 p.m. Pallbearers were grandsons and great-grandsons. Lovein Funeral Home, Nashville. was in charge of arrangements.
