The Berrien Press -- Evie Lee Wells, 84, of Nashville died December 16, 2007 
at Coffee Regional Medical Center.
 Born December 20, 1922 in Cook County to the late Reuben and Pearlie Ann 
Griffin Knowles, she was a homemaker. She was married to the late Byron 
Reynolds Wells who died in 1982.
 Survivors include three daughters, Myrtle O'Berry and Pearl Barker, both of 
Nashville, Jerel Fortner of Douglas; one son, William Wells of Glennville; one 
brother, Allen Knowles of Nashville; 16 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, 
one great-great-grandchild.
 Funeral services were held December 19 at 2 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home with Rev. Glen Taylor officiating. Musical selections 
included "Precious Memories" and "Amazing Grace."
 Interment was in Brushy Creek Cemetery in Cook County.
  Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
