 Johnny Robert West, 62, of Ray City died September 19, 2012, at his residence.
 Born June 29, 1950, in Norman Park to the late Wilbur and Larue Jordan West, h
he had lived in this area most of his life. He was a member of Ray City First B
Baptist Church and a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Disabled A
American Veterans, loved to fish and spend time with his family.
 Survivors include his wife, Sandra “Sandy” West of Ray City; son, Johnny 
Robert “Bobby” West, Jr. of Versales, IN; daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie 
West Morgan and Steven Morgan of Mobile, AL, Stephen and Margaret West of 
Mobile; step-daughter, Sandi Douglas of Ocilla; grandchildren, Patricia West, 
Marissa West, Aiden Morgan, Kerigan West, Hunter West, Ellis Douglas, Savana 
Douglas; brothers and three sisters-in-law, Gerald and Susie West of Orlando, 
FL, Ralph West of Suffolk, VA, Tommy and Regina West of Adel, David and Penny 
West of Hahira; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dona West Phillips and Edwin Phi
Phillips of Ft. Mills, SC, Diane West Sawyer of Brunswick, Karen West Williams and
and David Williams of Hahira; special aunt and uncle, Elaine and Jack Ellington of 
of Clayton; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two bro
brothers, Bryon West and Kenneth West.
 Funeral services were held September 22 at 11 a.m. at Ray City First Baptist Ch
Church with Rev. Robbie Peavy officiating.
 Burial with military honors followed at Beaver Dam Cemetery.
 Martin-McLane Funeral Home of Hahira was in charge of arrangements.
