Jim West
 Jim West, 81, of Rt. 2 Nashville, died Tuesday June 12, 1979 at Berrien Co. 
Hospital following a short illness.
 A native of Barber Ala., he was born Dec. 20, 1897, and had resided most of 
his life in Nashville.
 A retired farmer was married to the former Emma Lane Jones who survives him.
 Other survivors besides his wife are, two daughters Mrs. Marjorie Tygart, 
Nashville, and Mrs. Dorothy Rudd of Jacksonville, Fla., also one step-daughter, 
Mrs. Alex McKinnon, Nashville; two sons, Dick West, Nashville and Judson West, 
Jacksonville, Fla., also two step-sons Earl Shirah, Valdosta and Raymond Shirah 
of Jacksonville, Fla,; one sister, Mrs. Lois Baker, Eufaula, Ala., 24 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
 Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 13 4 p.m. in the chapel of Lovein 
Funeral Home, who handled arrangements.
 The Rev. Fred Hesters pastor of Nashville Mission officiated.
 Grandsons of Mr. West were pallbearers.  Interment was in Westview Cemetery.
