Dick West
 Dick West, 68, of Nashville, died Saturday, Jan. 2, 1993 at Berrien Co. 
Hospital.
 Born Nov. 24, 1924 in Macon County, he was the son of Jim and Emma Jones 
West.  He lived in Barrien County most all of his life and was a retired 
plumber and electrician.  He was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Kitchen 
West in 1973.
 Survivors include his mother, Emma West of Nashville, two daughters Libby Dean 
of Alapaha and Debbie Harris of Tifton; two sons, Ricky West and Randy West of 
Nashville; three sisters, Marjorie Tygart and Myrtice McKinnon of Nashville and 
Dorothy Minchew of Jacksonville, Fla.; two brothers, Judson West and Raymond 
Shirah of Jacksonville, Fla.; and five grand children.
 Services were held Monday, Jan. 4 at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Lovein Funeral 
Home with the Revs. Fred Hesters and Guy Cornell officiating.
 Interment was in Westview Cemetery.  Active pallbearers were Bobby Polk, 
Bobbie Kimble, Bobby Joe Day, “Doc” Griffin, Randall Pittman and Jonathan

Fort.  Honorary pallbearers were James Harper, John David Luke, and Bobby Jack 
Carter.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
