 Curtis Wetherington, 83, of Nashville died March 30, 2014, at his residence.
 He was born November 2, 1930, in Cook County to the late Ira and Ruby Watson 
Wetherington. He was a retired sales agent with Independent and American 
General. He was an avid ham radio operator, a Navy veteran of the Korean 
Conflict, a member of Nashville VFW Post, and a member of Nashville First 
Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by a daughter; Susan Wethington; 
granddaughter, Brook Chauncey; two brothers, Ralph Wetherington and Frank 
Wetherington; two sisters, Cleo Dryden and Sallie Shirah.
 He is survived by his wife, Virginia May Wetherington of Nashville; daughter, 
Sandra (Shelly) Chauncey of Pearson; son, Greg (Donna) Wetherington of 
Nashville; brother, Ira Thomas Wetherington of Anderson, SC; two grandson, Chris 
(Nikki) Wetherington and Jeremy (Katie) Wetherington; several great-
grandchildren.
 Funeral services will be held April 2 at 2 p.m. at Nashville First Baptist 
Church with the Revs. Stanley Luke, Danny Ray and Ben Rice officiating.
 Interment will follow at Empire Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
