Wheeler Passed Away Early Wednesday Will S. Wheeler, 87, lifelong resident of Berrien County, passed away at his home on East McPherson Street, at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday morning following a short illness. Mr. Wheeler was born December 20, 1869, the son of the late John and America Faircloth Wheeler of Berrien County. He was a farmer in his early life, retiring with advanced age. Funeral services will be held from the Chapel of Lovein Funeral Home Friday at 11:00 o’clock, conducted by Rev. Garnie A. Brand. Burial will follow in Griner cemetery under the management of Lovein Funeral Home. Surviving Mr. Wheeler are his wife, Mrs. Will Wheeler of Nashville; one son, Lucious Wheeler, Nashville; three daughters, Mrs. Dovie Thornton, Sarasota, Fla., Mrs. Cora Stone and Mrs. Ruby Lee Hillhouse, of Nashville. Thirty-seen grandchildren and sixty-four great-grandchildren.
