 Mary Ethel Whidden, 92, of Nashville died December 14, 2012, at South Georgia Re
Regional Medical Center.
 She was born February 20, 1920, in Holmes County, FL to the late Jackson Lee a
and Cora Lizzie Woodham Long. She was a homemaker and member of Nashville First B
Baptist Church. She was the widow of Esau James "E.J." Whidden who died in 2
2010. She was also preceded in death by a son, Johnny Whidden, who died in 2012.
 She is survived by a daughter, Ann Whidden of Las Vegas, NV; sons and 
daughters-and-law, Jim and Sue Whidden of Nashville and Jack and Scharline 
Whidden of Moorehead, KY; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
 A graveside service was held December 16 at 2 p.m. at Westview Cemetery.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
