Born July 11, 1950 in Colquitt County to Ida Pyles Stafford of Moultrie and the late Barney Stafford, she was a homemaker and member of Alapaha Church of God. Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Waymon Whitley of Alapaha; two daughters, Kay Baldree of Nashville and Tangie Kent of Alapaha; one son, Mike Lollar of Brookfield; four sisters, Debbie Woodleaf, Linda Stafford, Esther Lashley, all of Moultrie, Louise Gaines of Tallahassee, FL; four Brothers, Sonny,Stafford, Morris Stafford, Bo Stafford, all of Moultrie, Richard Stafford of Anchorage, AK; six grandchildren, three great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held June 1 at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Berlin with Rev. Paul Mills officiating. Theresa Cardin and Cheryl Boyette sang "Go Rest High On That Mountain" and "My Beautiful Heaven." Interment was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
