 Esther Sue Whitley, 52, of Nashville died Feb. 28, 2009 at Palmyra Medical 
Center.
 Born Oct. 11, 1956 in Atkinson Co. to the late Dewey and Lady Belle Walker 
Rowe, she was a homemaker.
 Survivors include one daughter, Stacey Lynn Whitley of Alapaha; 
granddaughter, Amber Trowell of Alapaha; two sisters, Shirley Cook of 
Nashville and Margaret White of Adel; three brothers, Bobby Rowe of Alapaha, 
Jimmy Rowe and Jackie Rowe both of Nashville; several nieces and nephews. In 
addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, one 
sister, and three nieces.
 A graveside service was held March 4 at 11 a.m. at Willacoochee City Cemetery 
with Rev. Phillip Simmons officiating.
 Pallbearers were Chris Cook, Buddy Rowe, Joe Rowe, Mike Lollar, Derek 
Whitley, Earl Whitley. Honorary pallbearer was Eddie Blakely.
 Lovein Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
