Born April 3, 1926 in Berrien County to the late Frank E. and Fannie James Williams, he was a retired farmer. He was a Christian, a member of the Baptist faith, and a faithful servant of God who shared his beliefs and blessings with others. He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Orphalea Hughes Williams, and two children, Dennis Frank Williams and Leichia Jean Williams. He enjoyed many hobbies such as NASCAR racing, fishing, and listening to gospel music. He also took pride in providing for his family, fishing and listening to gospel music. He also took pride in providing for his family, friends and neighbors with a spectacular garden. He was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather and will be sorely missed by all. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Iris Carol Register Williams, who he called "Doll"; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Homer and Myra Williams, Lee and Linda Williams, Keith Williams, all of Florida, and Johnny and Debbie Williams of West Berrien; six daughters and sons-in-law, Mary and Hoyt Shaw, Donnis and Gary Hyde, Kathy and Buck Aultman, all of Tifton, Shirley and Kenny Myers of Lenox, Karen and Dan Coker of Canton, Vondia and Michael Noland of Valdosta; 18 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren; four sisters, Christine Whitley of Eldorado, Alma Richardson, Anita Peele and Nadine Pearman, all of West Berrien; two brothers, Curtis Williams and Ralph Williams, both of West Berrien; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held January 13 at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Albritton- Beaumont Funeral Directors with the Revs. Bill Barksdale and Jim Williams officiating. Interment was in Oakey Grove Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Scott Wood, John Murphy, James Aultman, Jason Barksdale, Jamie Lane, Tim Hobbs, Chance Myers, John Williams, Matthew Bennett. Honorary pallbearers were Lloyd Copeland, John R. Stewart, Ronald Griner, Darla Hamilton, Deena Cornelius, Rudy Cox, Guy Cox, Harmon Tawzer, William Dotson, James Mathis, Dub Danforth, Raleigh Coarsey, Bobby Coker, Wayne Noland, Jimmy Lane, Joey Hall, Oklan Myers, David Tawzer, James Rich, Dr. William Hancock, Emory McMillan, Olan Harris, Darvin Eason, Steve Dixon, Bill Fletcher, Willard Jernigan, Sonny Williams.
