 Horace Rudolph Williams, Jr., 88, of Duluth, formerly of Berrien County, died 
June 23, 2005

 Born March 15, 1917 in Lawrenceville to the late Avis Guthrie and Horace R. 
Williams, Sr., he was owner of Williams Brothers Concrete Company. From 1950 - 
1964, he owned and operated H&J Williams Lumber Company in Nashville. He was 
preceded in death by his first wife, Evelyn Wheeler Williams.

 Survivors include his wife, Ethel Garrick Williams of Duluth, formerly of 
Nashville; two sons, Marshall Williams and Don Williams; two daughters, Rebecca 
Williams and Marilou Knight; three sisters, Sara Brown, Betty Stark and Rose 
Williams; one brother, Bill Williams; three grandsons.

 A memorial service was held June 27 at 5 p.m. at Roswell Funeral Home. The 
family honored his wishes to be cremated.

 Roswell Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
