 Gerald Mitchell Williams, Jr. 50, of Nashville died April 10, 2010, in G
Gainesville, FL.
 He enjoyed camping and was an avid fisherman. He was a member of Veterans of 
Foreign Wars and served in the U.S. Air Force as a rescue paramedic. He was 
preceded in death by his parents, Gerald M. Williams, Sr. and Barbara Noles.
 He is survived by his wife, Carla Jeanette, their children, Christina Villegas 
and her husband, Enrique, Jennifer Openshaw and her husband, Daniel, and 
Tabitha Martin, all of Washington; two loving mothers, Patricia Williams of 
Blountstown, FL and Ellen Williams of Wetumpka, AL; two brothers, Warren Bazzell
Bazzell of Prattville, AL, Charles Mathews of Valdosta; five sisters, Natasha 
Shaw and Angelic Gidney, both of Valdosta, Sherry Miles of Texas, Glenda 
Johnson of Quitman, and Kay Nixon Prattsville.
 A memorial service was held April 17 at 1 p.m. at United Pentecostal Church, V
Valdosta.
 Adams Funeral Home, Blountstown, was in charge of the arrangements.
