Williams, 88, of Nashville died Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012 in t the South Georgia Medical Center. He was born Dec. 23, 1923, in Lowndes County to the late Lorenzo Columbus Williams and the late Tinsie Boyd. He was a retired farmer and yard manager for A Adel Feed & Seed Company. He was a member and deacon of Open Door Missionary B Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife: Sue Sutton Williams of Nashville; daughter: Pat (Rev. Gary) James of Adel; sister: Doris Mathis of Homeland, FL; brother: Carroll Williams of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; four grandchildren: Becky (Rev. Jody) Futch Futch, Michael (Charleen) James, Jo Anna (Josh) Bryan, and Lilly (Ray) Tyson; seven great-grandchildren, Nicole Futch, Erika (Jody) Beckham, Zach Bryan, C Christopher Bryan, Luis Tyson, Nicole Tyson, and Christopher Tyson. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012 at 11 a.m. in the Open Door Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Gary James, the Rev. Jody Futch, the Rev. Bill Fletcher, and the Rev. Clarence Luke officiating. Interment will follow in the Open Door Cemetery.
